Every claim in every review on this site is verified before publication. Allison owns the verification process — from the licensing line in the operator footer to the cashout times Ryan logs during testing. Here is what that looks like in practice:
1. Licensing and corporate records
Every operator we rank is matched against its issuing licensing authority. For Curaçao licenses, Allison checks the GCB (Gaming Control Board) license register for the master license holder and sub-license status. For Anjouan and Costa Rica claims, she traces the corporate entity through public registries. Operators whose stated license does not match the public record are flagged and held out of publication.
2. Cashout-time verification
Ryan logs every test cashout with timestamp, amount, and confirmation hash. Allison cross-references those logs against the operator's withdrawal history page (where available) and against complaint-tracker data on Casino Guru and AskGamblers for the same time window. A cashout time only enters a review when the operator log and at least one external source align.
3. Bonus terms re-read every month
Bonus marketing changes faster than bonus terms do. The first week of every month Allison opens every active bonus on the site, re-reads the live T&Cs page, and diffs it against what is currently published. Wagering multipliers, max-cashout caps, max-bet rules, restricted games, country exclusions, and time windows all get re-checked.
4. Regulatory and tax claims sourced
Any statement about US gambling law, state-by-state legality, IRS reporting thresholds, FinCEN guidance, or 18 U.S.C. § 1955 is traced back to the primary source — the statute text, the IRS publication, or the official guidance document. Secondhand explainers do not get cited.
5. Editorial independence sign-off
Before a review is queued for publication, Allison signs off that no claim in the piece is unsupported and that no ranking decision changed after the testing was complete. Reviews that fail sign-off go back to Ryan for re-testing or get the unverified claim removed.
